"I don't know if he can shoot better than me" - Giannis Antetokounmpo rates J. Cole, Drake & other celebs' basketball skills

Giannis Antetokounmpo is widely regarded as one of the most dominant players in NBA history. The two-time MVP also happens to be an engaging conversationalist in interviews. On Tuesday, he combined his basketball knowledge and charm as he played “Nice or Not Nice” with Complex Sports.

The rules of the game were simple. Antetokounmpo only had to say “nice” if he considers a player good, and he can even give them a score. If he's not a fan of the player's skills, he had to say “not nice.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo had this to say about rapper J.Cole’s basketball game based on a few clips:

“He went to the motherland and came back with some skills. Yeah, he’s nice. J. Cole is 9.5. He’s nice. He can shoot. I don’t know if he can shoot better than me.”

Before Cole became a rap star, “The Come Up” hitmaker had already been playing basketball and even competed in tournaments. NBA fans might remember him from his participation in the 2012 Celebrity All-Star Game. He also performed at halftime in the 2019 edition of the event.

Giannis Antetotokounmpo also graded Drake. Here’s what he had to say about the Toronto Raptors’ global ambassador:

“I feel like when Drake plays basketball, he’s feeling himself. I’ve never seen this. Actually, I’ve seen him in the league. Okay, I give him like an eight. I’m generous, huh? I have to be generous after this past summer. I got to be generous.”

Antetokounmpo gave a thumbs-up to Justin Bieber’s skills and called him a good passer and shooter. The Bucks’ franchise cornerstone wasn’t overly impressed with Gucci Mane but praised the hip-hop artist for wearing the Zoom Freak 1s.

Giannis Antetokounmpo laughed when he saw DJ Khaled and insisted that Druski didn't know how to hoop.

Giannis Antetokounmpo takes a shot at Jack Harlow and the Boston Celtics

When Giannis Antetokounmpo saw Lil Durk playing against Jack Harlow, the NBA star’s attention shifted to Harlow, a Boston Celtics fan. Antetokounmpo playfully called the clip as he watched it:

“This is Lil Durk, I like his music. … Jack Harlow’s guarding him, he [Harlow] cannot play because his defense is horrible and he supports the Boston Celtics, too. Look, look, he got crossed. In your face, Jack Harlow.”

Since 2017-18, the Bucks have faced the Celtics in three postseason series, losing two of them.
