"I'll chew him up & spit him" - Skip Bayless calls out Draymond Green for labeling him as LeBron James hater
Skip Bayless has garnered a reputation for being an NBA analyst with strong criticisms and often raises eyebrows with his takes. When Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green called him out for being a "LeBron James hater," Bayless responded back on his "The Skip Bayless Show." He even invited Green to come to his show.
It doesn't come as a shock that Bayless' words rub some athletes the wrong way. However, the "Undisputed" host remains unbothered whenever he gets called out by players. Be that as it may, he is known for being highly critical of the 20-time NBA All-Star.
There are several clips and posts online where he has shown a lack of enthusiasm when it comes to topics about the Lakers forward.
"Draymond [Green] called me a flat out hater for hating on Lebron [James] every single day," Bayless said. "... Draymond Green has an open invitation to join me on this show. ... And he can have as much time as he wants to make all of his cases against me. But I will respond. ... He knows I would chew him up and spit him right out for all to see."
During his podcast, Skip Bayless also highlighted Green's comments as his way of strengthening his business relationship with LeBron James. Both players are under Rich Paul's Klutch Sports Group.
Following Bayless's response, it should be interesting to see if either one of them will make an appearance in their respective podcasts.
Draymond Green's comments regarding Skip Bayless as a "LeBron James hater"
During his appearance on Shaquille O'Neal's "The Big Podcast with Shaq," Draymond Green described Skip Bayless as an individual with the "biggest hater" energy when it comes to the four-time NBA Champion.
"Biggest hater outside the NBA is Skip Bayless, for sure," Green said. "Dude just sit up there and spew hate. I hope I give him a soundbite for his show because it's dying. When you're hating on LeBron James every single day for instance it's like, there's nothing this man has done to give you something to hate on every single day. Like, you're a hater."
From Green's perspective, he found it puzzling how one player could create so much animosity for an NBA analyst such as Bayless on a nightly basis. This is in consideration of the lasting legacy that James has already left in the game of basketball with everything he has accomplished in his career.
Through all of the nitpicks and criticisms, the Lakers superstar has continued headstrong in his career while having one of the most impressive professional basketball resumes.
However, an NBA player such as Draymond Green has caught on to Skip Bayless's track record when it comes to covering LeBron James. Whether there is some bias to Bayless's comments or not, Green's comments did enough to warrant a response from the "Undisputed" host.
