"I love what you did here" - Dwyane Wade mocks LeBron James' self-awareness in latest Hennessy commercial

LeBron James is now trolling his own fans who trolled him for not ever going beyond the first page of a book, and his friend Dwyane Wade is loving it. The Los Angeles Lakers star posted a story on his social media that showed him reading "The First Page" book. The clip was part of a commercial for Hennessy.

In the video, James is seen reading the book from a long-distance shot. As the camera zooms in, the Lakers star is seen reading the book with the same title. However, as the camera closes, the four-time NBA champion takes his eyes off the book and looks into the camera, symbolizing a look at his fans.

Reposting James' story on his Instagram story, Wade had a hilarious comment for the King.

"I love what you did here @kingjames," Wade wrote in the caption.

Of course, Wade was referring to James trolling his own fans in the video.

LeBron James has been seen multiple times reading books in public. James was once seen reading Malcolm X's autobiography during the Bubble in 2020. He even told the media that he had just started reading the book and fans trolled the King on social media.

Even when he was with the Cleveland Cavaliers, a few times he was seen entering the arena while reading his book.

Dwyane Wade opens up about the secret to his great friendship with LeBron James

The friendship between LeBron James and Dwyane Wade has been one of the longest-lasting friendships in the NBA. The two NBA legends first became friends and later became championship teammates in Miami.

Last year, Wade spoke about his friendship to NBA.com. During the conversation, the former Heat star said that he had so many things in common with LeBron and that made their friendship work organically. He also added that the similar lifestyle also helped them bond together.

“When you’re young and coming into the league, you find guys you have something in common with, then you continue to link, and that’s what we did,” Wade reflected. “It’s organic how we built this friendship.”
“I think it was a lot from our childhood. Just similar upbringings,” Wade said of why he and James became close to each other. “The struggle of our moms and the way that we had to grow up. We’re very similar in a lot of ways. So you just hit it off with somebody.”

Despite Wade having retired from basketball, he and LeBron James still share a very close friendship.
