Harden’s girlfriend shared a post by “The Good Quote,” an account on Instagram, on her IG story. The post spoke about removing oneself from toxic situations and not overextending oneself for others.
“I quietly remove myself from situations now. I'm not over explaining myself, I'm not going back & forth, I'm not looking for closure, I'm not causing a scene, nothing. You'll just never hear from me again. I'm done overextending myself for others,” the post said.
Reposting the self-care quote in her story, Speights wrote that following the same mantra has made her life more peaceful.
“Been Doing this for almost a year now and I gotta say life has been way more peaceful.”

Two weeks ago, Rajon Rondo married his longtime girlfriend, Latoia Fitzgerald, in Italy. The wedding was attended by many NBA players including Rondo’s former teammates with the LA Lakers. One of the guests was Clippers star James Harden.
Interestingly, Harden had arrived with a mystery woman and it was none other than Paije Speights. Apparently, the couple had recently started dating, and what happened at the wedding was something that Harden might not have expected in his wildest dreams.
When Rondo’s wife tossed the bride’s banquet, it was Speights who picked it up. As she picked it up, she ran to James Harden and hugged him. However, it was Harden’s reaction that put the internet on fire. He looked straight with his wide-open eyes as if he had seen a ghost. The guests around them started to laugh at his reaction.
Later, Speights cleared the viral video saying that she wasn’t participating in the banquet toss and it was just a coincidence.
"I wasn't even participating lol I'm standing outside the circle in the back. The bouquet landed right at my feet. Hey a win is a win."
James Harden is a free agent now and has to figure out where he wants to land to pursue a championship. Perhaps with the success he had with the Clippers last season, he might choose to stay with them.
