"I'm single, Skip" - Paul Pierce plans to be in Vegas after Skip Bayless' last FS1 day

Skip Bayless went live earlier on his final day at FS1 and his morning show "Undisputed." During the segment, 10-time NBA All-Star Paul Pierce looked fresh in his pink suit while highlighting his plans to spend the weekend in Las Vegas. It was a hilarious exchange between the two hosts, including NFL legend Keyshawn Johnson.

Bayless has been one of the prominent figures in the sports journalism industry. Dating back to his days with NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith over at ESPN's "First Take," to his tenure with Shannon Sharpe at "Undisputed." He has garnered a reputation as one of the most critical analysts in the world of sports.

The brief exchange was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, by user Awful Announcing (@awfulannouncing).

"You can call me Vegas P," Pierce said. "I might be sliding out after this. Listen, I'm single, Skip."

When the Boston Celtics legend referred to himself as "single," Bayless and Johnson couldn't help but laugh at what their co-host just said.

Bayless posted on X about his decision to leave FS1 and "Undisputed" after a tremendous eight-year run.

There is still no update on what Bayless future projects will be or the future status of his podcast, "The Skip Bayless Show."

Nick Wright is considered to be a replacement for Skip Bayless by FS1 executives

Front Office Sports' Michael McCarthy reported that "First Things First" host Nick Wright is viewed to be the next face of the FS1 network.

"According to my sources, FS1 executives believe First Things First star Nick Wright is the future of the network," McCarthy wrote.

Wright is one of the popular figures in sports debates as he backs up most of his hot takes with facts and strong rebuttal points. His show has garnered praise from fans for the entertainment value and the strong chemistry with fellow hosts Chris Broussard and Kevin Wildes.

However, McCarthy added that he isn't too sold on the idea of moving the trio to Skip Bayless' morning show. In that scenario, it will place them at the same time as ESPN's "First Take," which features popular NBA analyst and Knicks fan Stephen A. Smith.

Nick Wright also congratulated Bayless on social media for a historic career in sports commentary and the legacy he is leaving behind.
