LeBron James' wife Savannah James says Cavaliers selecting her husband might have saved their relationship

LeBron James and Savannah James have been together for over two decades now. The couple started dating when Savannah was 16 and James was 17. The couple was born in the same city making relationships easier for them.

At such a young age, a long-distance relationship wouldn't have been the best idea for the young couple. Lucky for the couple, the Cleveland Cavaliers got the first draft pick in the draft and they selected James as their No. 1 pick.

The wife of the LA Lakers star made a shocking revelation about their relationship on the latest episode of "Everybody's Crazy." Savannah James admitted that she wasn't sure if their relationship would have worked if James had been selected by any other team.

“Obviously, LeBron got drafted to Cleveland when we was younger, and I’m from Akron - I’m from 30 minutes down the road — but I don’t know,” Savannah said. “If I had to ask him if he was sittin’ here…I think that he would say the same in, like, ‘I don’t know what would have happened.’ So, thanks, Cleveland Cavaliers.”

It is safe to say that the Cavs do have some part to play in their everlasting love story. They are now parents to three children.
