"I'm not trolling" - Shaquille O'Neal apologizes to Drake for posting bikini-clad snap using BBL Drizzy reference
NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal apologized to Drake after sharing an edited picture of him and Drake on a boat. The made-up picture included O'Neal wearing blue floral bottoms while holding Drake. The Canadian rapper was shown wearing a bikini and while Metro Boomin's BBL Drizzy played in the background.
This picture made the rounds on social media this week, but O'Neal wanted to clarify that he had nothing to do with it and apologized to Drake. He admitted to thinking it was a funny picture but made it clear that he wasn't behind its creation:
"Let me apologize real quick. I sent out a picture the other day. The mistake I made was, I should have said, 'Who did this?' Because I want Drake to know...
"Listen, Drake has a great sense of humor, so I thoughts it was funny that they did it. I don't want him to think, like I saw, 'Shaq's trolling.' No, I'm not trolling. I didn't photoshop it. Somebody photoshopped it, and I actually saw it."
Shaq continued:
"So Drake, I apologize, I should have put 'Who was this?' on there because I don't want you to think I did that. Somebody sent it to me. I thought it was funny and hopefully you thought it was funny, too."
Shaquille O'Neal is used to sharing a lot of posts on his Instagram profile. Sometimes he agrees with them or asks fans to share their opinions on the matter. This time, he arguably tried being funny, but some didn't take to it kindly and called him a troll for posting the picture.
That said, there might be other things that arguably upset Drake instead of this picture.
Shaquille O'Neal shares Snoop Dogg's video calling Kendrick Lamar the King of the West
Before sending out the picture, Shaquille O'Neal shared a video of Snoop Dogg praising Kendrick Lamar for his Juneteenth concert, calling him the King of the West for bringing a lot of artists together.
"Sending a big shoutout to K.Dot and all the homies in the West that stood together, unified, organized, in piece and love. That was beautiful, that was fun to watch. Beautiful to see all of my people coming together. K.Dot, you are the king of the West. That's the kind of s**t kings do. We unite," Snoop Dogg said.
Considering Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been beefing for months now, this should be a bigger reason for Drake to be upset with Shaq than the photo.
