"I'm winning 11-5": LeBron James' son Bronny James predicts blowout against Bryce and defeat to dad in 1-on-1 showdown

There has been a lot of buzz lately regarding LeBron James' son, Bronny, who had a quality showing at the 2024 NBA Draft Combine. Interestingly, he also showed some confidence and humility when he talked about getting the better of his younger brother Bryce in a 1-on-1 pickup game but eventually coming up short against his father.

In a video clip interview by House of Highlights, he was asked how his chances would fair against his younger brother and LeBron James. Out of confidence, he gave his assurance that he would best out Bryce James and the score wouldn't even be close.

"I'm winning 11 to five," James said.

However, that wasn't the case if he was to be guarded by the LA Lakers superstar in the next round. Hilariously enough, he initially gave himself six points against LeBron James' 11 points, but then he changed his score to seven instead by the end of his answer.

"He's winning 11 to seven," James said.

Considering how passionate the trio are about playing some basketball, playing 1-on-1 hoops isn't nothing new to them at this point. With the amount of training and practice sessions they've partaken in together, going up against one another on the court has become second nature in the James family.

LeBron James' son on creating separation between his name and his father's

To live under the mantle of LeBron James is considered tremendous pressure for the caliber of Bronny James. Following his one season at the USC Trojans, the young NBA prospect is testing the waters when it comes to his trade market.

However, he wants to make sure that he would stand out not for being associated with one of the greatest NBA players of all time but because of what he can bring to the basketball court.

"Everything that follows my dad, people just try to link me with that and all the greatness he's achieved and I haven't done anything yet," James said (per Yahoo Sports' Krysten Peek). "So there needs to be that divide between Bronny and LeBron. I just want to let people know that my name is Bronny James and not being identified as LeBron James' son."

The road remains challenging for Bronny, especially with the kind of legacy that his father has established for himself in the 21 seasons he's played in the league.

In Bronny James' 2023-24 season at USC, he averaged 4.8 points (36.6% shooting, including 26.7% from 3-point range), 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
