Bob Myers asserts Klay Thompson is frustrated because of several challenges he's facing currently: “I am surprised he took that long to get kicked out of a game”

Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors was clearly frustrated during the Golden State Warriors game against the Phoenix Suns. He was seen talking trash to superstar Devin Booker. During that game, it was obvious that something was going on with Klay Thompson as he was aggravated because he didn't play well.

Due to his frustration, he ended up talking too much and even got kicked out of the game. Because of this, Warriors owner Bob Myers came out with the following statement on a recent episode of the Executive Show.

"Klay hates to lose, and hates to not play well and that's how it came out... It happens, I'm surprised he took that long to get kicked out of a game."

Klay Thompson Frustrated Over Play

Klay Thompson hasn't played well since returning from his injury a season ago. Although the Golden State Warriors did win an NBA title last year, there's no denying that he should have been playing much better.

When looking at the stats that he put up when he returned from injury a year ago and this season, they have been some of the worst numbers that he's put together throughout his career. It was the worst 3-point shooting season of his career a year ago by more than 2%. He's also shooting below 30% from 3-point range this season and although the season is still young, it's certainly a worry for the Golden State Warriors.

If Golden State is hopeful that they can get back to winning another NBA title this season, Klay Thompson is going to be a major reason why. He's one of the best shooters that the league has ever seen and although it's not going to be easy for him to get that same type of juice that he had before his injury, he has shown signs of still being one of the better shooters in the NBA when he's on his game.

It might sound crazy, but this might be something that he actually needed to do from his own personal standpoint. He might have had things going on in his life that he needed to get out on the court and who knows, maybe now he can play better.

As of Sunday, the Golden State Warriors have played disappointing basketball to start the season as they currently sit at 3-4. They haven't been impressive by any means, but they also haven't necessarily played poorly.

Can Golden State Win a Title?

This is a team that we can't judge until it's time for the playoffs. We all know that the Golden State Warriors are going to do everything they can to win another NBA title this year, so the only true time to judge them is when they play when it matters most. They still have things that they're going to need to work on throughout the season, but as we've seen from them throughout the past few years, they should eventually figure that out.

Let's see if they can do that once again.
