"I think Draymond’s doing a great job of getting the camaraderie back" - 3x NBA champion opens up on aftermath of Draymond Green-Jordan Poole altercation

Three-time NBA champion Kevon Looney gave an update on the Draymond Green-Jordan Poole situation. With the recent drama between Green and Poole making rounds around the NBA, Looney gave an assurance that the team chemistry will be back to normal.

In an interview with Steiny and Guru, Kevon Looney spoke about how Green has handled the situation with the Golden State Warriors. This was the result of what happened to the team a few weeks ago.

The incident drew major attention. Due to this, players in the organization have worked together to help both players patch things up.

Looney is one of the players who has helped contain things in the Warriors organization. As a starter, he gave an update on how things are going.

“I think Draymond’s doing a great job of getting the camaraderie back,” Looney said.

It's a great sign for the team and the fans to see that things aren't getting out of hand. This came after a video surfaced where Green threw a punch at Poole during practice.

It's still unclear why things got heated between the two players. But with Looney's update, fans can start to feel at ease.

This isn't the only instance where Green has butted heads against a teammate. While Kevin Durant was with the Warriors, Green and Durant were seen yelling at each other (Nov. 2018). In a game against the Los Angeles Clippers, the two yelled at each other after a miscommunication on a play.

The two have since patched things up. Given how competitive Green is, there might still be a few instances when people will see him butt heads against his teammates.

When people think of the Golden State Warriors, Kevon Looney isn't the first person who comes to mind. But he's still an integral piece to the Warriors' success.

Looney isn't the type of player who would draw the attention of people with his scoring abilities. However, during the team's 2022 NBA title run, people saw the value that he brought to the floor. His rebounding skills proved to be the difference maker in some playoff games.

During Game 6 against the Memphis Grizzlies, Looney grabbed 22 rebounds for the Warriors. This was a huge difference maker in eliminating the young Grizzlies. Not only that, but his 18 rebounds against the Dallas Mavericks came in handy as they finished the series in five games.

Due to this, Looney earned himself a big payday, re-signing for three years for $25.5 million.
