Wade attended the women's basketball game between Team USA and Belgium on Aug. 1, where the Americans secured an 87-74 victory.
In an Instagram story, Wade displayed his Cartier Tank watch, which was the focal point of his look. The accessory is valued at $6,574, according to the luxury watch store Chrono24.
During the game, A'ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart led Team USA with a combined 49 points. Stewart topped the scoring with 26 points, while Wilson added 23 points and 13 rebounds, helping their squad advance to the quarterfinals of the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Dwyane Wade's role at the Paris Olympics
Dwyane Wade, who earned one gold and one bronze medal from his Olympic career, is participating in the Paris Olympics once again, but this time as an analyst rather than as an athlete.
As a 13-time NBA All-Star and Hall of Famer, Wade is part of NBC's commentary team for the Olympics, focusing on Team USA’s men’s basketball team.
“I am excited to share the experience of witnessing the Olympics with viewers,” Wade said in a statement. “The Olympics are the world’s greatest sporting competition with elite athletes competing at the highest level on the world’s largest stage. I have tremendous pride when I look back at my time competing as an Olympic athlete.”
Wade also expressed respect for the current players and their dedication:
“It will be an honor to witness their journey in person and share this special experience with viewers while we unite to celebrate their pursuit of the gold.”
Wade, selected by the Miami Heat in the 2003 NBA draft, was instrumental in the Heat’s first NBA championship with his standout performances in the 2006 finals, earning MVP honors. In 2008, he also won his first Olympic gold medal as part of the "Redeem Team."
Dwyane Wade spent 16 seasons in the league with the Heat, Bulls and Cavaliers, averaging 22.0 points, 5.4 assists and 4.7 rebounds in 1,054 regular-season games. He won three championships, all with Miami.
