Former NBA champion Iman Shumpert has set the record straight regarding his rumored romance with model and television personality Amber Rose. The two were recently seen on a beach trip together which sparked speculation about their relationship.
In an interview with TMZ Sports on Sunday, Iman Shumpert clarified that there is nothing more than friendship between him and Rose.
"We went to 'College Hill' [Celebrity Edition] together," Shumpert said. "Any other time, y'all would've just let us eat, but I get it."
He then added:
"Nah, that's my peoples."
It has been more than a year since Iman Shumpert's wife of seven years, singer and actress Teyana Taylor, announced on social media that they had been separated for a while.
When Taylor revealed her split from Shumpert, who is the father of their daughters Iman "Junie" Tayla Shumpert Jr. and Rue Rose Shumpert, she noted that they remain on good terms.
"Iman and I are separated and have been for a while," Taylor said via Instagram on September 2023. "To be 1000% clear, 'infidelity' ain't one of the reasons for our departure."
"We are still the best of friends, great business partners and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our 2 beautiful children. Most importantly we are FAMILY & in the 10yrs together, 7yrs married we ain't ever played with or about THAT."

“He gon’ win, man. He can do all the lifts. He can carry her up, pick her up, move her around. Whatever y’all wanna see, he got it. He can lift her up better than me. He gotta win. He just [have to] remember to smile."
Karagach previously danced with Iman Shumpert during the show’s 30th season, where they emerged victorious. To date, Shumpert is the only NBA player to reach the finals and win it.
