In Photos: Andrew Wiggins' girlfriend Mychal Johnson shares wholesome sunbathing clicks with daughters Amyah and Alayah

Andrew Wiggins is having an early offseason after the Golden State Warriors lost 118-94 to the Sacramento Kings in the play-in tournament. With his basketball campaign over, he has been spending more time with his girlfriend Mychal Johnson and their two daughters. The Warriors had a disappointing season but the consolation prize for an early vacation isn’t disappointing at all.

Recently, Johnson went on Instagram to share what she and her kids have been doing. She posted a few photos of herself with Amyah and Alayah having some fun under the sun. Wiggins wasn’t in the pictures but he was likely with them enjoying the downtime.

Andrew Wiggins and Mychal Johnson welcomed the elder daughter Amyah in 2018 when he still played for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Three years later, the second child came along when he was already with the Golden State Warriors. The two often watch games when the Dubs are in the Bay Area.

It isn’t surprising for Wiggins and Johnson to spend time with the little ones. The Warriors forward, in particular, often find strength in them. In 2022 he said in an E! Interview what their kids give him when he faces obstacles in the NBA:

“You can go to work or somewhere and not have the best day and come home and my daughters are just there waiting for me. They’re always happy, always in a good mood. I always feel so much love so they keep me going,” Wiggins said.

For Amyah’s fifth birthday in 2023, Andrew Wiggins and his girlfriend Mychal Johnson put up a “Frozen” themed party for her. The party saw the elder daughter wearing a princess gown as host of the event. Although it wasn’t Alayah’s big day, she also had her fair share of the limelight as she was constantly around her mother.

April 2024 was Alayah’s third birthday, which was an occasion that the Wiggins family grandly celebrated. There was no cartoon character associated with the event but the rainbow-themed party was adorable and heartwarming. The highlight of the show event was when the former All-Star walked in holding the hand of the youngest daughter.

In October this year, Andrew Wiggins and Golden State Warriors fans will be interested to see what they prepared for Amyah. The new season will be starting by then but count on the versatile forward to give her another grand celebration.
