In the same interview, Redick shared his plans to maximize all available tools for Bronny James' growth as a professional basketball player.

"I think Bronny is a young guy, I'm very high on him as a basketball player," Redick said. "He's kind of like the first player that we get to mold and help develop. So we're going to look at the G League as a tool in our player development system."

The Lakers drafted James with the 55th overall pick with plans of strengthening his upside as a player in the league. He has promising defensive capabilities with a three-point that could be further improved.

Mixing him between the NBA roster and the G-League rotation looks to be the roadmap to achieving the best possible results on the court for the rookie.
