The growing friendship between Caitlin Clark and Tyrese Haliburton is a welcome sight and another step toward creating the bridge between the NBA and the WNBA.

The Indiana basketball stars were in attendance at the Pacers Foundation Golden Gala in Indianapolis on October 19, and it would be safe to say the Indiana Fever sensation stole the night.

In a picture posted on X, Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton and Fever star Caitlin Clark were snapped together as they posed for the camera with a big smile on their faces. Haliburton wore a green suit and paired it with black leather shoes.

Clark stole the night in a black off-shoulder sleeveless dress and paired it with rose gold heels. The golden girl from the Indiana Fever also wore a $1,050 white gold and diamond necklace for the occasion. Adding to the shine of her look were her silver clutch bag and her bracelet.

It was the first time that the Golden Gala was held by the Pacers Foundation. The event was held at Commission Row, adjacent to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Other players from the Pacers and the Fever were also present for the event.

Tyrese Haliburton showers praise on Caitlin Clark amidst their growing friendship

Tyrese Haliburton was one of the familiar faces at the Indiana Fever home games this WNBA season. Sitting courtside, cheering on the Fever team, his presence was a welcome sight at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

He was also one of the biggest cheerleaders in the building. But it appears like Haliburton wasn't there just to support the Fever, he was also there to support his new friend. The Pacers star and his girlfriend have grown close to the Fever star.

During the Pacers' Media Day, Haliburton said that he, his girlfriend Jade Jone, Caitlin, and her boyfriend Connor McCaffery have grown close as friends. He also shared that they have a group chat.

"Me, her (Clark), him (McCaffery) and my girlfriend, Jade, all have a group chat that we talk in pretty often about everything.
"We’re friends, and I think that that’s a cool part. If she wants to talk basketball, we’ll talk basketball. If not, I’m totally fine with that as well. But I think we’ve grown a pretty cool friendship, alongside Connor."

Interestingly, McCaffery worked with the Pacers for some time before he took the assistant coaching job for Butler men's basketball last month. Later, the Fever star also attended one of the Pacers games with her teammate Kelsey Mitchell and her boyfriend.
