In Photos: Derrick Rose's wife Alaina Anderson shares slew of family pictures with kids
Derrick Rose has been spending as much time with his family as possible after announcing his retirement from the NBA on Sept. 26. On Wednesday, the Rose family celebrated Derrick Rose Jr.'s 12th birthday.
Rose's wife, Alaina Anderson, shared a flurry of pictures of her stepson, celebrating her children, on her Instagram story.
Derrick Rose and Alaina Anderson have been together since 2016 and married since 2023. He proposed in Madison Square Garden in 2021 during his time with the New York Knicks.
The two share a daughter, Layla Rose, and a son, Landon Rose, along with Derrick Rose Jr., whom Derrick shares with his ex, Mieka Reese. Rose and Anderson welcomed their daughter in 2018 and their son one year later in 2019. Rose and Reese welcomed Derrick Rose Jr. in October 2012.
Derrick Rose retires from NBA after 15 seasons
Derrick Rose announced his retirement from the NBA two weeks ago and is now available to remain with his family without traveling for games or practice. Rose played 15 pro seasons, spending time with the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers, Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves.
Rose, a three-time All-Star, won the league's MVP award in the 2010-11 season and was named Rookie of the Year for 2008-09.
In his career, Derrick Rose averaged 17.4 points, 5.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game. Since retiring, Rose has celebrated his son's 12th birthday with his family and made an appearance at a Chicago Bears game with his kids.
Rose attended the Bears' matchup versus the Carolina Panthers in Chicago on Sunday and received a standing ovation from the crowd.
