Regarded as one of the best shotmakers in the NBA today, Devin Booker is also known as one of the bright young faces among athletes representing the Nike brand.

In a much-anticipated showcase game between USA Basketball and Serbia, Suns' Devin Booker donned a new white and blue colorway for his Nike Book 1 sneakers.

Booker is one of the vital pieces in Team USA's guard rotation alongside Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards, Warriors' Stephen Curry, Celtics' Jrue Holiday, etc. Staying in tune with the colors present in USA Basketball jerseys, the new blue and white colorway easily matches the look.

The Phoenix Suns' X account shared snaps of the shoes on the social media platform.

The four-time NBA All-Star also reshared on his Instagram stories a picture taken by USA Basketball of him wearing his sleek new sneakers.

While he only registered 3 points (1-of-3 shooting) in the exhibition game, Booker was still effective in moving the ball with his teammates while playing sharp defense.

He was one of the best on-ball defenders in Team USA's Olympic gold medal run in 2020 and has mimicked the same level of intensity in the showcase matchups.

Devin Booker urged Team USA to sharpen shortcomings following close 98-92 victory against Australia

Before USA showcased flashes of their dominance against Serbia today in a 105-79 win, it was a different look in their previous exhibition outing against Australia.

With 5:05 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Team USA's 15-point lead to begin the quarter was cut down to just six points. Despite some fight in the last stretch, the USA still pulled away with a close victory to remain spotless in their showcase schedule.

It was a stark difference from how they performed against Canada, where they handled their business with a 86-72 win.

After the game, Devin Booker highlighted the win as an urgent matter to examine and improve upon the team's shortcomings, as per The Athletic's Joe Vardon.

"We understand time is not on our side," Booker said. "We have to clean things up quickly, and playing like we did in the second half today ... we will not win a gold medal."

While the team has not looked flawless as of late, there have been flashes of their incredible dominance on the basketball court when everything is clicking in their favor.

With the number of offensive superstars and two-way athletes present on the squad, adjustments in the collective chemistry will prove crucial in the coming days.

Certain players must be able to do extra work outside of their usual responsibilities with their NBA teams if they hope to bring home the gold medal.
