NBA legend Dwyane Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union made an appearance together to celebrate 50 years of USA Basketball. In the midst of the hectic schedule of the Paris Olympics, the stars from Team USA also attended the special occasion.
Some of the most renowned faces in USA basketball showed up and posed for pictures on the red carpet. The players looked fashionable while they made their entrance to the party. From Dwyane Wade to other basketball stars like A’Ja Wilson and Jayson Tatum, the party was completely star-studded.
Former Miami Heat star D-Wade wore a brown color suit and posed with his wife Union, who was wearing a black dress.
Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum showed up in a half-sleeve white floral shirt, while others like Tyrese Haliburton and Anthony Edwards dressed up more casually.
From the US women’s basketball team, A’Ja Wilson wore a metallic silver top and black jeans.
Brittany Griner seemed pretty relaxed in her white half-shirt over a white t-shirt. She had matched it with black jeans. Las Vegas Aces teammates Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray also posed together.
Tom Brady, LeBron James and his wife Savannah James also graced the party.
Dwyane Wade lists top threats to Team USA at Paris Olympics
Dwyane Wade is an Olympic gold medalist and now he is in the Olympics as a commentator.
Times are different now as Team USA faces some big challenges before they can even get near the gold medal. With over 60 international NBA players taking part in the competition, Dwyane Wade knows times have changed.
In a conversation with BasketNews, Dwyane Wade listed the teams that pose the biggest threat to Team USA.
"I mean, obviously, Germany and Canada. From the naked eye, you would think those two teams are probably the biggest threats," Wade told BasketNews.
Wade said that the currently put-together Team USA is one of the best in history. However, he still has his fears considering the fact that just one game loss and his country will be out of the competition.
"This is the USA team. This is one of the best teams we've ever seen put together. This team is very professional, but it only takes one game. And I think that's the scary thing about it because the talent in the field is pretty good," said Wade. "Like I said, we have 68 players total in this field, which makes it very competitive."
On Tuesday, Team USA will face Brazil in the quarterfinal of the Olympics. The US team won all three games in the group stage.
