In Photos: First look at Toronto Raptors' city edition jersey honoring Vince Carter's iconic between-the-legs dunk

The Toronto Raptors will have their third Basketball Hall of Famer with the class of 2024, as Vince Carter will be inducted in October.

The Raptors are honoring the eight-time NBA All-Star with the release of their City Jersey for the 2024-25 season.

The jersey features the Raptors' logo performing Vince Carter's iconic between-the-legs dunk from the legendary 2000 NBA Dunk Contest. Carter won the contest with the dunk and went on to perform his signature "It's Over" celebration.

Vince Carter was one of the greatest slashers and most influential players in NBA history. The 2024 Hall of Fame inductee averaged 16.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists.

Carter earned two All-NBA nods in his 22-year career, earning third-team honors in 1999-00 and second-team honors in 2000-01. He posted 22.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists across his 12-year prime.


Vince Carter joins 2024 Basketball Hall of Fame class

Vince Carter is headlining the 2024 Basketball Hall of Fame class, along with four players from the NBA.

Chauncey Billups, the coach of the Portland Trailblazers will be inducted with the 2024 class. He made five NBA All-Star teams and three All-NBA teams and led the Detroit Pistons to the 2003-04 NBA championship, winning the Finals MVP. Billups averaged 15.2 points, 5.4 assists and 2.9 rebounds in his 17-year career.

Lakers legend Michael Cooper, a crucial member of the 'Showtime Lakers' of the '80s, will also be inducted. Cooper is one of the greatest defenders in NBA history, making eight NBA All-Defensive teams and winning the 1986-87 Defensive Player of the Year award. A trailblazer to the term 'Three-and-D', Cooper helped the Lakers to five NBA championships.

The final NBA player to be inducted in the 2024 Hall of Fame class is Walter Davis, the Phoenix Suns' all-time leading scorer. He made six NBA All-Star appearances and two All-NBA teams, earning second-team honors in 1977-78 and 1978-79. In his 15-year career, Davis averaged 18.9 points, 3.8 assists and 3.0 rebounds.
