Houston Rockets star Jalen Green showed off his stylish Chanel kicks on his Instagram story on Friday. The Chanel white-silver laminated sneakers featured in Green's story are listed at $1958 on Balaan.
Boasting 2.4 million followers on Instagram, Green has been building his resume as one of the more fashionable players in the NBA.
The Rockets guard was previously spotted extending his support at the launch of rapper Gunna's fashion venture "P by Gunna" on Wednesday. Green and his baby mama, Draya Michele, featured at the event, wearing matching gray shirts with "Sex Ed" written on them.
The Rockets star recently welcomed a daughter with Michele on Mother's Day but has not yet publicly commented on the birth of his child. Michele took to Instagram to announce the arrival of the baby with an emotional post.
Draya Michele became a third-time mother after the birth of their daughter, while Green reportedly fathered his first child just three months before welcoming his baby with Michele.
Jalen Green to Miami Heat in potential blockbuster trade deal
Jalen Green ended his 2023-24 NBA season on a high after leading the Houston Rockets' close run to clinch a playoffs berth. The 22-year-old put up a spectacular display, especially in the last few games, finishing the season averaging 19.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
In a potential blockbuster trade deal for the NBA offseason outlined by Grant Hughes of the Bleacher Report, the Rockets could deal a heavy trade of Green, Dillon Brooks and the No. 3 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft in exchange for the Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler and their No. 15 pick.
"Those anchored to the idea of teams spending four or five first-rounders to land a superstar might balk at Houston's outgoing package here," Hughes wrote.
"But Butler is only available because he's angling for an extension the Heat aren't keen to offer, and that has to lower the price for the acquiring team in any trade."
The potential trade of the young star could set Miami up for a bright future, while the addition of Butler's veteran ability could bolster Houston's shot at a deep playoff run next season.
If the trade materializes, the Heat would boast a young core of Green, Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro and Jaime Jaquez Jr., all of whom are less than 27. Moreover, with coach Erik Spoelstra's ability to develop talent, the Heat could fully unlock Jalen Green's All-Star potential.
