In Photos: James Harden takes the "long way home" with girlfriend Paije Speights in shiny Mustang
In his latest Instagram post, James Harden showed off his shiny Foxbody Ford Mustang GT Convertible. The LA Clippers star was in the green vehicle with his girlfriend Paije Speights and added a caption that had several fans thinking he was with artist Latto.
"took the long way home #Uno," Harden captioned.
This isn't the first time Harden has dedicated a post to this car. Ahead of the Clippers' season opener against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, he shared a video while driving it.
Harden had a strong performance against the Suns. He dropped 29 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished eight assists. He delivered just when the team needed him to take over in Kawhi Leonard's absence; however, the Clippers fell short 116-113 in overtime.
The NBA season has just started, so Harden will have more chances to lead the Clippers to a lot of wins. Meanwhile, he's enjoying this car and Speights is accompanying him in his drives. Ever since the couple made their relationship public in June, they have shown off their love on social media. Speights even made a heartfelt birthday message for Harden in August.
James Harden's girlfriend Paije Speights gets emotional as her son turns 6
Besides celebrating James Harden's birthday, Paije Speights also gave an emotional message for her son as he turned six on Saturday. She took to her Instagram stories and shared a series of pictures of Prynce Almario Chalmers on his big day.
"Can't believe you are 6 today😢😫🥺," Speights captioned.
"Ok. I'm bout to go cry now. Bye," she wrote in another story.
Prynce is Speights' son with former Miami Heat and Memphis Grizzlies guard Mario Chalmers. She has posted pictures of her baby on several occasions, including one when he was playing with a hammer and a couple of water bottles beside a street, which prompted her to ask what he was doing before telling him to pick everything up and go inside the house.
James Harden and the Clippers will face the Denver Nuggets on Saturday in their second matchup of the season, scheduled to start at 5 p.m. ET.
