Since the Boston Celtics' championship parade, Jaylen Brown and Kysre Gondrezick have taken their relationship public. As the Finals MVP enjoys his offseason, the two have been spotted on an international vacation together.
Before Brown and Gondrezick enjoyed some downtime, they made an appearance at a charity auction. It was being run by soccer star Vini Jr, who plays forward for Real Madrid and Brazil's national team. The auction was held at the "Copacaban Palace" in Rio de Janeiro.
The day after the charity event, Brown and Gondrezick took advantage of being in the famous city. They were spotted enjoying a vacation in the NBA offseason.
Earlier this month, Brown reportedly felt slighted after not being named as a replacement for Team USA in the 2024 Olympics. That said, the Celtics star is maximizing his offseason. He now gets to spend the coming weeks taking a break from basketball before starting his ramp-up for the 2025 season.
As for Gondrezick, she attempted a WNBA comeback this season. However, her run did not last long. The former No. 4 pick signed a deal with the Chicago Sky at the start of the year but ended up getting waived after playing in just five games.
Jaylen Brown and Kysre Gondrezick continue to pop up in public together
Since the NBA season ended, Jaylen Brown and Kysre Gondrezick have popped up in multiple spots together. Before their trip to Brazil, they decided to soak up some basketball action up close.
It is a regular practice for older players to make an appearance at Summer League to support the young talent. Brown and Gondrezick recently showed up in Las Vegas to watch the Celtics take on the LA Lakers.
The couple was not alone, as Angel Reese was also with them. She and Gondrezick became good friends during their time as teammates on the Sky.
Jaylen Brown ended up making waves during his time at Summer League. While sitting courtside, the broadcast picked up him talking about Bronny James with Gondrezick. When reading his lips, the Celtics star is seen saying he doesn't think LeBron James' son is a pro just yet.
After this snippet went viral on social media, Brown took to X (formerly Twitter) to set the record straight. He thinks Bronny has a bright future and thinks it's amazing that LeBron gets to share the floor with his son.
Aside from Summer League, Brown and Gondrezick's other notable public showing was being on the red carpet at the ESPYs.
