Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown showed up at the ESPYs with his date, WNBA's Kysre Gondrezick. The two wore a glamorous all-black outfit for the award show. The couple posed in front of the camera with the Larry O'Brien trophy to celebrate the Celtics' NBA Finals run.
Despite not being named as Kawhi Leonard's replacement in Team USA, Brown was all smiles as he went to the ESPYs with his date. The 2024 Finals MVP donned a three-piece all-black suit to the event. He paired it with a black pair of formal shoes and black sunglasses.
Gondrenzick was also in an all-black elegant, see-through dress.
Brown came off a stellar 2023-24 NBA season, averaging 23 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists. During the Celtics' playoff run, the two-way forward put up 23.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists. In their five-game Finals series against the Dallas Mavericks, the three-time All-Star had 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists to earn the Finals MVP award.
Gondrezick, on the other hand, was recently released by the Chicago Sky.

Jaylen Brown dodges question about Team USA at the ESPYs
Although Jaylen Brown hasn't verbally expressed his disappointment in the Team USA snub, his recent activity on social media speaks for itself. While at the ESPYs' red carpet event, former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton had some questions about Brown getting snubbed from the roster.
Newton asked Brown about how he feels about the current roster of Team USA. Brown played it off with his response.
"What you mean?" Brown asked.
"Why aren't you there? Do you feel [some type of] way?" Newton asked the Finals MVP.
"I ain't really got no comment. I got my beautiful date right there," he responded.
After it was confirmed that Leonard wasn't going to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics, many thought Brown would be named as a replacement.
But Team USA opted for a scrappy, defensive guard in Derrick White, who's also teammates with Brown. Former NBA star and current managing director for the national team Grant Hill expressed his opinion. According to him, it was a difficult decision to make since the Celtics star has proven himself to be a great star.
