In Photos: Kyrie Irving rocks eye-catching earring as he explores pyramids during Egyptian getaway

Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving is currently enjoying some well-deserved time off after an extended NBA season thanks to he and the Dallas Mavericks' playoff run. While Irving and the Mavericks came up short of their ultimate goal of winning the NBA Finals, the team had an impressive season after missing the playoffs during the 2022-23 season.

Currently, Irving is enjoying a vacation overseas, which recently saw him travel to Greece before then making a stop in Egypt. On Friday, the 2016 NBA Champion posted a series of photos on Instagram showing himself touring one of Egypt's pyramids while wearing an earring that caught the eye of fans.

While the earring is different than the others the NBA star has worn from Little Mountain Tribe in the past, it appears to be more significant than an ordinary fashion earring.

While the earring can be seen at a distance in the first photo the eight-time All-Star posted, it can then be seen clearly in a follow-up selfie where Irving can be seen in front of the pyramid.

Check out some of the photos of the future Hall of Famer's from his trip to Egypt, below:

It's unclear whether Irving was touring one of the Great Pyramids in Egypt, or whether he was touring another pyramid, such as the Pyramid of Menkaure, however, hopefully he continues to post more photos from his trip.

Kyrie Irving recently seen giving tips to young hoopers in Greece while on vacation

Despite the fact that Kyrie Irving is on vacation, the Mavericks star still took some time to pass along some knowledge to young hoopers while in Crete. Earlier this week, before Irving traveled to Egypt, he was seen giving some tips to kids in Crete while vacationing in Chania at Falasarna Beach.

Video footage emerged of Irving taking time out of his day to demonstrate how to create space, earning him praise from fans for passing along his knowledge to the next generation of hoopers.

What made the fact that Irving took the time to share his knowledge even more meaningful was the fact that he is currently recovering from hand surgery. According to a report from Greek Reporter, the NBA star underwent surgery to repair a broken left hand.

Despite recovering from surgery, Irving still took the time to engage with fans. Additionally, according to a separate report from Mykonos Live, Irving also left a generous €500 tip for staff members at a restaurant named Canale in Chania after enjoying local Cretan food.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, despite undergoing hand surgery, the Mavericks are hopeful that Kyrie Irving will be 100% for training camp.
