NBA legend Michael Jordan's love for golf is no secret, and his son, Marcus Jordan, seems to be following in his footsteps. Marcus has the foundation in front of him with access to the invite-only golf course, "The Grove XXIII," built and owned by his father.

Marcus spent his Thursday morning at the venue, which cost up to $20 million per Front Office Sports. Marcus shared a few snaps of the property on his Instagram. Here are some of the pictures he shared (via @heirmj523):

In one of his stories, Marcus revealed he walked 12,000+ steps to make it to 18 holes. With heavy rains, walking was the only option for Marcus at the venue, as it isn't advisable to use golf carts in such weather.

Nevertheless, Marcus seemingly enjoyed every bit of it. He posted a pic

"Heaven on Earth."

The golf course is located in Hobe Sound, South Florida. It opened five years ago in 2019. According to Architectural Digest, the property includes a clubhouse, gatehouse, learning facility, and practice range.

The invite-only list is exclusively for Michael Jordan's celebrity friends and professional athletes, personally invited by the NBA legend. One of the most intriguing services provided on "The XXIII Grove" is drones that fetch food and beverages to the invitees while they are playing.

Popular golf course designer Bobby Weed designed MJ's property, catering to the six-time NBA champion's playing style and speed. Meanwhile, Nichols Architects and Dailey Johnson designed the 15,000-square-foot clubhouse.

Bobby Weed once revealed his the process of building "The XXIII" with Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan demanded perfection from his colleagues then. That's a habit that seemingly hasn't died down. According to CNN, his first brief in 2017 to designer Bobby Weed further proved a testament to that. Here's what Weed said about Jordan's brief for "The XXIII Grove":

"Build me the best golf course. Build me the best driving range."

Weed, who had also renovated golf legend Tiger Woods' Medalist Golf Club two years before signing with Jordan, took up the challenge, knowing the pressure that would have come with it.

"I knew that it would get a lot of attention because of MJ," Weed, 68, told CNN. "I knew that there was some fanfare associated with it and I didn’t want to let him down."

Despite the demands, Michael Jordan ensured he gave Bobby Weed space to put his creative brain into action. Weed described Jordan as a "good listener." Jordan visited the 200-acre property several times a week after his designer encouraged him to be as involved as possible.

Jordan course seemingly embraced the work put in by Weed to create this golf course, widely labeled "Slaughterhouse 23" by some of the invite-only members because of the advantages the course provides "His Airness," especially in wagers with his celebrity friends and athletes.
