In Photos: Paul George's wife Daniela Rajic samples $100 chicken nuggets & sips viral tequila during US Open final
Paul George and his wife Daniela Rajic were at the Arthur Ashe Stadium on Sunday to watch the 2024 men’s US Open final. The matchup pitted Jannik Sinner of Italy and American Taylor Fritz.
The NBA couple could have witnessed a historic moment had Fritz pulled the rug from under Sinner. Had Fritz won, he would have been the first American to win the tournament since Andy Roddick did it in 2003. The Italian was too tough, though, winning the championship in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 and 7-5.
Daniela Rajic shared photos on Instagram of her time with George at the event.
Rajic and Paul George had the highly sought-after chicken nuggets from Coqodaq, worth $100 for a box of six pieces. In past US Open tournaments, tennis-lovers often enjoyed chicken nuggets for roughly $20-$40. This year, fans in the suites can opt for the more luxurious and highly expensive variety.
The highly-priced chicken nuggets weren’t the only gustatory delight George and Rajic had. They also had shots of the fan-favorite Maestro Dobel Tequila, named the “Official Tequila” of the 2024 US Open. The brand’s “Dobel Fritzy Spicy Margarita” was a nod to American competitor Taylor Fritz.
Daniela Rajic could become a regular sight in 76ers home games to cheer for Paul George
Over a year after the LA Clippers traded for Paul George in a blockbuster deal with the OKC Thunder, “PG-13” got engaged to Daniela Rajic. She quickly became a regular at Crypto.com Arena to cheer for her boyfriend, who eventually became her husband.
“PG-13,” however, left Los Angeles for Philadelphia. George’s wife and his three children could become regular faces at the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia.
After failing to reach a new deal with the Clippers, Paul George signed a four-year, $211.8 million contract with the 76ers. He forms perhaps the best “Big 3” in the NBA along with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.
Sixers fans will be happy to see Rajic join them in cheering for the team once the 2024-25 season starts.
