In Photos: Russell Westbrook sports new buzz cut in stunning photoshoot as he graces the front cover of TMRW magazine
Russell Westbrook, one of the most stylish NBA players, is a sought-after face for style magazines. He is set to grace the cover of the 49th issue of TMRW Magazine.
The LA Clippers star posted some snaps of the photoshoot, including the cover, in his new buzz cut on social media. Westbrook wore a printed rose-pink blazer from Alabaster Industries for the cover photo.
Russ posed in a printed shirt and black pants, followed by a white sweater. In the last picture, the nine-time NBA All-Star also posed in a denim jacket.
This is not the first time Russell Westbrook has graced the cover of a fashion magazine. He has been on GQ's cover multiple times. He was one of the biggest faces at the Vogue World show at Paris Fashion Week in June.
Westbrook was born and brought up in Los Angeles and fashion has been an integral part of his lifestyle. He took one more step in the fashion world when he launched his "Honor The Gift" fashion brand in 2017.
Russell Westbrook uses fashion to express himself
Russell Westbrook’s fashion might not serve everyone’s taste, but he has never shied away from experimenting with his style in public.
For the 2017 MVP, fashion has always been a source of expression. After launching his own style line “Honor The Gift”, Westbrook said in a YouTube video of Vogue that he always wanted to own a fashion brand.
“I’ve always been connected in fashion,” he said in Vogue’s YouTube video. “I always wanted to have an opportunity to be able to have my own brand. That’s meaningful, that's impactful, that's inspiring…Through fashion, I'm able to express myself.”
Russell Westbrook has been recognized as one of the best-dressed NBA players. Last year, according to Yahoo News, Westbrook was ranked among the Most Stylish NBA Players.
On the basketball court, the LA Clippers star's struggles continued last season. However, he still remains important to the Clippers’ success. Although he is far from being the same player he was a few years ago, he is still one of the best athletic guards in the league.
