Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been enjoying fatherhood this offseason. After his Olympic stint in Paris, SGA has used the break from basketball to focus on his four-month-old son. Earlier today (Aug. 23), Gilgeous-Alexander's wife Hailey Summers posted a picture of their son Ares on her social media.
The wife of the OKC Thunder star posted a series of photos of her newborn baby boy on her Instagram. The pictures included some solo pictures of Ares, as well as some pictures of him with his father Gilgeous-Alexander.
Summers captioned the post:
"Almost 4 months with our little man."
Ares was born on April 25. He was born when the Thunder were facing the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round of the 2024 playoffs. He will turn four months old right after two days.
It was in December last year that Summers and SGA announced on social media that they were going to be parents. The couple married on Valentine's Day this year.
SGA had a successful year with the Thunder last season. The Thunder faced an early elimination after losing the second-round playoff series to the Dallas Mavericks. However, it was the best that the Thunder had performed in the last few seasons.

This is not the first time that Hailey Summers has been swooning over her newborn son. She has been excited since day one about the arrival of their firstborn.
Just a few days ago, on Aug. 17, Summers posted an adorable picture of Gilgeous-Alexander cradling Ares and looking at his baby's smiling face.
Summers captioned the post:
"Sunshiness."
The couple have been together since 2017, and Ares is their first child. Neither Summers nor Gilgeous-Alexander have been very public about their relationship. They have kept their romantic life out of the media limelight.
Summers is also a college soccer player. She played for the University of Albany in New York. However, she retired from the game in 2021, announcing her retirement on social media. She has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology.
As for SGA, he and the Thunder will enter the 2024-25 season with a new hope to win a title. After trading for Alex Caruso, the Thunder have gotten themselves in a great position this year.
