In Photos: Tyrese Haliburton's girlfriend shares pictures of St. Tropez vacation
Tyrese Haliburton's girlfriend Jade Jones shared pictures of her vacation at Saint-Tropez in Southern France. The couple had an unforgettable time in Paris during the 2024 Paris Olympics, where Haliburton took home a gold medal for Team USA.
In an Instagram post, Jones shared a bunch of photos of herself in a brown bikini in the backdrop of the ocean. It was a well-deserved vacation for her after more than a month of supporting Haliburton during his stint with the national team.
"Here till further notice," Jones wrote.
Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones have been together for years much before he had got drafted into the NBA in 2020. They met each other when they were students at Iowa State, wherein Haliburton was a star basketball player and Jones was a cheerleader.
Jones has always been there for Haliburton from their preparations in Las Vegas to their showcase games across the pond and the 2024 Paris Olympics. She was not the only significant other to support their partner in Paris, though, as Jeanine Robel, Ayesha Curry and Savannah James were also there.
Tyrese Haliburton took a backseat with Team USA
Tyrese Haliburton was one of the breakout stars at the 2023 FIBA World Championship, which was one of the reasons why he got the nod for the 2024 Paris Olympics. However, Haliburton had to take a backseat to Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors.
The Indiana Pacers star guard barely had any playing time and was on the court for just 26 overall minutes. He received three DNPs, which was unsurprising, as his minutes started dwindling from Las Vegas to the basketball showcase in London.
It didn't matter, though, as Haliburton was fully supportive of his teammates and cheered them on when they came from behind to beat Serbia or staved off France. He scored eight points but earned a gold medal along the way.
Possible reason why Tyrese Haliburton had limited minutes
According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, Haliburton was nursing a leg injury and had to undergo an MRI. There were no other details about the injury, but Haliburton battled a bunch of leg muscle injuries last season, causing him to miss the games-played threshold.
Haliburton has less than two months to fully recover from the injury but he can still enjoy what's left of his offseason. Training camp starts in September, and the season begins a month later.
The Indiana Pacers will look to build on their successful season last year, where they made the Eastern Conference Finals.
