NBA icon LeBron James has been outlasting “Father Time” for quite a while now, and actress Victoria Justice recently shared photos highlighting “The King” from 13 years ago up to the present day.

Justice took to Instagram to post images of herself with LeBron James from 2011 and this year. The two have been working together for Lobos 1707, a tequila brand.

Among the photos, Justice included one with LeBron and his son, Bronny. At that time, Justice was 18, LeBron was 27 and Bronny was seven.

James and Justice recently appeared in a new Lobos 1707 commercial, where they recreated a scene from the James Bond film “Casino Royale.”

In the commercial, Justice inquired about James’ name, and in true James Bond fashion, the LA Lakers star replied:

“James. LeBron James.”

A closer look at LeBron James’ longevity

One of LeBron James’ most remarkable qualities is his longevity. Even in his 21st NBA season, he continued to excel, averaging 25.7 points, 8.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds with shooting percentages of 54.0% from the field, 41.0% from beyond the arc and 75.0% from the free throw line for the 2023-24 season.

LeBron is on the brink of matching Vince Carter’s record as the only player to have played 22 seasons in the NBA. Carter’s final season saw him average 5.0 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.8 assists over 60 games.

In February of last year, LeBron surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. By March of this year, he became the first player to surpass 40,000 career points.

Rumors about LeBron’s retirement have been circulating since the Lakers were swept by the Denver Nuggets in the 2022-23 playoffs. Nevertheless, he signed a two-year extension with the Lakers before the 2022-23 season, including a player option for 2024-25.

He has since opted out of that deal and signed a new two-year contract with the Lakers, which also includes a player option for the 2025-26 season. This season, LeBron will have the opportunity to play alongside his son, Bronny James, a long-held aspiration he has often mentioned.
