His outfit quickly went viral, garnering more attention for his offseason passion project.

The 29-year-old forward is set to enter his eighth season in the NBA, having posted his second-straight season averaging 20-plus points in 2023-24. Kuzma started in all his 70 games played last season, averaging 22.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.

Kuzma will enter his third season with the Wizards. The team will look to improve from their 15-67 record a season ago.

Kyle Kuzma discusses his trade from Lakers

Kyle Kuzma was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers with the No. 27 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, winning an NBA championship in 2020.

Following the 2020-21 NBA season, Kuzma was traded to the Wizards, along with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Montrezl Harrel, in exchange for Russell Westbrook.

In an interview last week with All-Star Magazine, Kuzma offered his thoughts on being traded from the Lakers.

"It was tough, you know? Because I feel like they kind of gave up on me, and they gave up on that team a little too early. Probably panicked a little bit. In the NBA things happen fast. You never know what's going to happen next."

In his final season in Los Angeles, Kuzma posted 12.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists, shooting 44% from the field. The Lakers finished 42-30 in Kuzma's final season.
