Tyrese Haliburton may be busy preparing for the about-to-start 2024 Paris Olympic Games with Team USA. But it has not stopped the Indiana Pacers All-Star Guard from spending quality time with his girlfriend Jade Jones.
The two shared time together, attending an event at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris and were all glammed up. Jones shared their experience at the event with a series photos on her Instagram story.
Below are screenshots of her posts:
Tyrese Haliburton and Team USA begin their Paris Olympic Games bid next week in Group C along with Serbia, South Sudan and Puerto Rico.
It will mark the second straight time Haliburton will be part of Team USA after seeing action in last year's FIBA World Cup, where they finished fourth. This time, the 24-year-old NBA star will hope to win a gold medal with a squad led by superstars LeBron James, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant.
Tyrese Haliburton saw action in four of the U.S. squad's five Olympic tune-up games, averaging two points, 2.8 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 15 minutes of play. Team USA's first game is against NBA MVP Nikola Jokic and Serbia on July 28 at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Lille.
Jade Jones a steady supporter of boyfriend Tyrese Haliburton
That Jade Johnson is beside Tyrese Haliburton as he bids for the Olympic gold in Paris is no longer suprising, as she has been with him since he started his professional basketball career.
The two met in college at Iowa State, where he starred for the Cyclones while Johnson was a cheerleader for the school, and they have inseparable since then.
Jones has been a steady presence in Haliburton's games. That has been the case in his first few years with the Sacramento Kings, who drafted him in the first round of the 2020 NBA Draft, and now with the Indiana Pacers, where he has become an All-Star.
During the impressive run of the Pacers in the playoffs last season, where they reached the Eastern Conference finals against eventual champions Boston Celtics, Jones highlighted her role as the biggest cheerleader of Haliburton.
She posted on her Instagram story:
"I'll always be your biggest cheerleader"
Tyrese Haliburton averaged 20.1 points, 10.9 assists (career-high), 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 69 games for the Pacers (47-35), earning his All-NBA Third Team selection. He also made it to his second straight appearance in the NBA All-Star Game.
