Steve Kerr calls Devin Booker an "unsung MVP" of the Olympics
Devin Booker didn't make a loud noise at the Olympics. Being part of a loaded roster, it was imperative that a lot of focus would go to other players. Despite that, the Suns star played his game and helped his team on both ends of the floor.
After winning the gold medal at the Paris Olympics, Team USA coach Steve Kerr made sure that Booker was paid the respect he deserved. At the press conference, Kerr said that Booker was Team USA's unsung hero at the Olympics.
"Devin Booker is an incredible basketball player. Nobody asked about him," Kerr said at the press conference according to Ben Golliver of the Washington Post. "He was our unsung MVP. I just wanted to say that."
Booker played all six games for his team. In those six games, he averaged 11.7 points per game. He also registered 2.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game while averaging just 22 minutes a game.
