Inside LeBron James' ultra-elite watch collection feat. $400,000 worth Richard Mille

NBA players are the richest athletes in the world, and they wear timepieces worthy of their net worths. LeBron James, the NBA's all-time leading scorer, flaunts an extensive and beautiful collection of watches.

It was recently broken down on GQ Sports by Moses the Jeweler, who critiqued some of the best and craziest watches worn by NBA stars.

In the video, the watch expert broke down the crowning jewels among LeBron James' collection of timepieces, and seemed very impressed by the King's regal collection.

What are the best watches LeBron James owns?

1. Richard Mille RM 11-03 NTPT Carbon

The first watch that he reviewed in the video was a Richard Mille RM 11-03 NTPT Carbon Flyback Chronograph, which is also known as the John Todt model. The model is a part of Richard Mille's collaboration with John Todt and is an ode to the luxury watch brand's ties to the automotive industry.

"It's just a crazy limited piece. A watch like this goes for over $400,000 you either need to be extremely plugged in with Richard Mille, or, again, you'd have to go to a gray market dealer, or you could be the all-time leading scorer like LeBron James" - Moses the Jeweler

The watch features a 44 mm case crafted from NTBT carbon, and is extremely lightweight and durable. The striking combination of blue and black carbon fibers ensures that the watch stands out as the center of attention whenever LeBron is wearing it.

The RM 11-03 is powered by the RMAC3 movement, which includes a fly chronograph function. This unique feature in the watch allows it to adjust to the weather of its surrounding conditions without ever stopping, and this functionality is particularly useful in timing sporting events.

It is priced at nearly $750,000 on the secondary market, which is quite a bit higher than usual for Richard Mille watches and is available very rarely.

2. Cartier Crash Skeleton

The second watch reviewed in the video is the Cartier Crash Skeleton, a visually striking timepiece built inside an asymmetric case. Its design style is reminiscent of Salvador Dali's painting, "The Persistence of Memory."

LeBron James owns one of the 67 variants of the 18k rose gold edition, released in 2016. He has been known to wear it on special occasions, including the prelude to the 2024 Olympics.

"It just looks like a melting clock on his wrist. What I love what they did over here, basically, they took the extravagant case and they just put a nice, simple black alligator leather band to really make the head pop." - Moses the Jeweler

The skeletonized version showcases intricate craftsmanship, with the movement visible and distinct Roman numerals visible behind the dial.

On the secondary market, this watch has fetched over $250,000.
