Is Luka Doncic playing against the Hornets? Latest injury update on Mavericks' star ahead of matchup (26th March 2023)

Luka Doncic is having another impeccable season. The Dallas Mavericks guard has been fantastic, averaging 32.9 ppg, the second-best scoring mark in the league.

While Doncic has played well, the Mavericks haven't found a lot of success. They are currently on a three-game losing streak, but will face the Charlotte Hornets, one of the worst teams in the league, on Sunday. Fortunately for Dallas, Doncic will be available for the matchup.

The 6-foot-7 superstar has dealt with several injuries in the 2022-23 season, missing 15 games due to them. However, he is listed as active and will likely suit up against the Hornets.

The Dallas Mavericks and the Charlotte Hornets will square off early in the afternoon on Sunday. The game will tip off at 1:00 PM Eastern Time and should be very interesting.

Luka Doncic was fantastic in his last matchup against the Hornets. He led the team in scoring with 34 points on 12-for-23 shooting. The four-time All-Star also added 10 assists and eight rebounds to his final stat line.

However, the Hornets prevailed in the end, beating the Mavs by eight points (117-109) in what was the most heartbreaking loss of the season. Dallas needed to win that game, but the Hornets were too good.
