Is Zion Williamson playing tonight against Memphis Grizzlies? Latest injury update fromĀ  New Orleans Pelicans (25th October)

Zion Williamson looked good in the NBA preseason games as he never missed a single one for the New Orleans Pelicans. His team is about to start the 2023-24 regular season and they will be heading on the road to battle with the Memphis Grizzlies this coming Wednesday, October 25.

The match will be broadcast by Bally Sports SE-MEM and Bally Sports New Orleans. The live telecast will begin at exactly 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time.

For the past four seasons, Williamson was only able to play a total of 114 games and has been branded as an injury-prone player.

By getting better treatment in the off-season, the former Duke Blue Devil is good to go for the Pelicans opening game against the Grizzlies and is predicted to be in the starting five.

This is a good sign for Pelicans fans who hope to go deep in the playoffs this coming 2023-24 NBA season.

Zion Williamson is in a better space

Aside from preparing his body to be 100%, the off-season has been a roller coaster for Zion Williamson as he has been linked to some off-court drama with adult film star, Moriah Mills.

With all the distractions that happened, Pelicans teammate C.J. McCullum shared on Fox News that he admired the maturity of Williamson to hurdle the challenges:

"I think he's in a good space. He's learned a lot from not only this previous summer but the entire and career he's had here in New Orleans. He's learned how to be a professional, he's learned how to take care of his body. He's learned that he can have success when he does certain things, and now, it's about sustaining that over the course of the season. So I think he's in a really good space."

In the 2023-24 season, Zion Williamson was able to play in 21 games before being ruled out of the season by early January 2023. In 29 games, the two-time NBA All-Star averaged 25.9 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists. He also had percentages of 60.5% on his field goals while his free throws were at 71%.
