“It ain’t the Brow”- LeBron James jokingly snubs Lakers co-star Anthony Davis’ nickname as the best on Team USA

LeBron James is now teamed up with his LA Lakers teammate Anthony Davis on the Team USA roster for the Paris Olympics. Filled with stars well-known even by their nicknames, James was asked to pick the best nickname on the team, and what happened later was hilarious.

LBJ was being interviewed when he was asked this question. While James was guessing, his Lakers teammate, who was sitting behind him, kept signaling at his brows, suggesting his own nickname 'The Brow' for the answer. When the reporter suggested Davis’ nickname, the four-time NBA champion categorically answered:

"It ain’t the Brow."

Team USA players have nicknames which are very famous among NBA fans. LeBron James himself is known by his nickname, 'King James'. His Team USA teammate Kevin Durant is known as the 'Slim Reaper', while four-time NBA champion Steph Curry is called 'Chef Curry'.

All the stars were asked the above-mentioned question and most of them, including Kevin Durant, said LeBron James’ nickname is the best.

In the midst of the Q&A, Durant himself spoke about his nickname. He said that previously, he wasn’t too comfortable with it and didn’t feel like he deserved it. But now, he thinks he does, so he likes his nickname.

In December 2022, KD told Boardroom that he got his nickname 'Slim Reaper' because he was skinny and worked at night.

Anthony Davis hilariously claims LeBron James is 45 years old

LeBron James is 39 years old and will turn 40 in December this year. Despite being the oldest player in the NBA, the Lakers star is still playing at an All-NBA level.

Team USA faced the German basketball team in their last exhibition game in London on July 20. Put in a tough spot, the USA team needed their 39-year-old star to do what he does best, close the game. The four-time MVP did not disappoint.

LeBron James scored the last 11 points of the team in the fourth quarter, leading to the USA beating the German team 92-88. James also scored 11 of his 20 points in those final minutes.

After the game, his Lakers teammate Anthony Davis praised him. However, as Davis always does, he hilariously called James a 45-year-old guy.

"LeBron Raymone James. He is still doing this at 45."
