"It's electric dammit" - Knicks stan Stephen A. Smith amped over Eastern Conference semifinals Game 7 against Pacers

NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith had to show up at Madison Square Garden to match the energy of the much-anticipated Game 7 between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers on Sunday. During a live segment of ESPN's "NBA Today," they aired Smith's inspiring message ahead of the game. From his words, it easily matched the expected intensity of the atmosphere.

Following a 116-103 Game 6 loss on the road to the Pacers, some pressure has mounted for the Knicks as they lost after having a 3-2 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinal series. Despite starting the second round with a 2-0 lead against Indiana, New York is now in a win-or-go-home situation.

ESPN tweeted the message that featured Stephen A. Smith's energetic self, considering how crucial this game is regarding the New York Knicks' playoff hopes.

"It's electric dammit," Smith said. "Everybody's coming to the Garden. ... Because we understand what this means, a Game 7. The first time in this position in the last 29 years for crying out loud. ... Brunson's going to play. I know Josh Hart is going to play. OG Anunoby is going to give it a try. ... The Garden is hyped. ... The bottom line is we here, we are here."

Regarded as one of the biggest Knicks fans, because he is also a native New Yorker, Stephen A. Smith highlighted the "electric" feeling of the Game 7 matchup. With a chance to punch a ticket to an Eastern Conference finals head-to-head meeting against the Boston Celtics, Jalen Brunson and the Knicks have the opportunity to make their home crowd proud.

NBA media personality mocked Stephen A. Smith's appearance at the Madison Square Garden for Game 7

ESPN tweeted Stephen A. Smith's arrival at the Madison Square Garden in a suit. However, NBA media personality BSOLZ reacted by mocking Smith's appearance.

"Bruh walking like he on the team."

The video featured Smith taking notice of the cameras that were following him, especially with some of the other attendees of the game inside the arena.

BSOLZ is known for NBA commentary content that has garnered 51,000 subscribers on YouTube and 44.4 thousand followers on X.

The postseason journey has not been pretty for the Knicks as they started it without the services of three-time NBA All-Star Julius Randle. During the last four playoff games, OG Anunoby was sidelined with a left hamstring strain. Additionally, Mitchell Robinson sustained a stress fracture in his left ankle in Game 1 against the Pacers, resulting in surgery.

With the New York Knicks' tough-branded type of basketball, they will need every available player to step up to prolong their postseason run.
