"It's not the real world" - Mark Cuban clashes with prominent GOP supporter about X Poll

Dallas Mavericks minority owner Mark Cuban has been in the headlines for his support of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the presidential race. After Biden announced his withdrawal from the race, Cuban reinforced his support for Harris over Republican candidate Donald Trump.

In a July 25 poll released by Mark Cuban on X, the billionaire received some attention from prominent Republican supporter Tiffany Justice.

At the time of writing, Mark Cuban's poll indicates Harris is a low-energy candidate for president, with 63.8% voting in favor of it.

"Guessing this didn't turn out the way you hoped," Justice commented on the poll.
"Turned out exactly as I expected. This is @X It's not the real world. And that's the point. I did the exact same poll on @threads at the exact same time. Completely different out come. Also expected. The most interesting difference isn't the survey. It's the level of hate in the replies. Also expected," Mark Cuban replied.

These remarks garnered some backlash from other Trump supporters, specifically in the comments to the poll.

Mark Cuban named 'longshot' betting option to be Kamala Harris' Vice President

After selling his majority stake in the Dallas Mavericks last NBA season, many speculated that Mark Cuban had plans to run for president, which the owner quickly shut down.

Cuban said he has "no plans" to run for president, jokingly adding, "My family would disown me." Despite these statements, Cuban has appeared as a betting option to be Kamala Harris' vice president, per BetOnline.

The website gives Cubans the 14th-highest odds at +8000 as of July 25, and the best odds of any non-politician. Other non-politicians on the list include Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney and former Alabama football head coach Nick Saban.

Clooney is just below Cuban at +10000 odds, while Saban and Winfrey each follow with +25000 odds.

Cuban's public support of Biden and Harris has earned him some attention for the Vice President role, but the Mavericks owner remains persistent in his denial about the job.
