Ja Morant, Larsa Pippen & more shower Scotty Pippen Jr. with love as he enters year 3 in the NBA
Scotty Pippen Jr. received love from his Memphis Grizzlies teammates including Ja Morant, and also from his parents Larsa Pippen and NBA legend Scottie Pippen, as he heads into his third year in the NBA.
They hyped Scotty on his post captioned "Year 3," which he shared on Instagram on Sunday. The post featured snaps of him suited up in Grizzlies threads for the upcoming season.
Larsa Pippen also reshared the post to her story, further hyping her son ahead of his third season in the league.

Scotty Pippen Jr. played 21 games in the 2023-24 season owing to the injury-riddled Grizzlies roster. He made good use of the opportunity, averaging 12.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.7 steals while shooting 49.3% from the field and 41.7% from three.
Scotty also displayed a strong performance at the NBA Summer League, averaging 21.5 points and 8.7 assists per game as he led the Grizzlies to the finals.
Having played just 27 games in his first two NBA seasons, Scotty Pippen Jr. may have an elevated role with the Grizzlies in the upcoming season.
Scotty Pippen Jr. has a clear path to earn a roster spot with Grizzlies
With former MVP Derrick Rose having retired from the NBA ahead of the upcoming season, there is a spot in the roster up for grabs. After displaying his growth in the past few months, Scotty Pippen Jr. may be on the path to securing that spot.
"I’ve been talking with Zach a lot and Coach Taylor, and they’ve been pretty transparent with me about, the steps going forward. There’s definitely a path for me to get that roster spot,” Pippen said (per AOL.com).
Scotty further shared that he's excited to play this season, citing that he didn't feel like a part of the team previously.
"I feel like previously in my last two years, I didn’t really feel like I was, you know, kind of a part of the team. I feel like this year I something to play for or something to be excited about. Whether it’s the roster spot or just playing for a team that believes in me and teammates, trust me regardless I’m just happy to be here."
Scotty Pippen Jr. is currently on a two-year, two-way contract with the Memphis Grizzlies that he signed in January this year.
