Ja Morant's baby mama KK Dixon accompanies daughter Kaari for 5 a.m. travel ahead of her birthday 'festivities'
Ja Morant’s baby mama, KK Dixon, is ready to celebrate her daughter Kaari Jaidyn Morant’s birthday. The Instagram model took to her social media account to give an early update about her daughter’s celebration. Dixon shared a video on her Instagram story, where she was seated with her daughter before they took a flight.
The mother-daughter duo were up as early as 5 a.m. to travel to plan for Kaari’s birthday. Dixon captioned the post,
“Up early to travel for the almost bday girl’s festivities.”
Kaari was born on August 7, 2019, the same year her father was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies, and just a month after he signed his rookie contract. Unlike her first birthday, Morant will be available to celebrate with her this year.
In 2020, Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies were playing in the Bubble in Orlando and he couldn’t be there for Kaari’s birthday because of COVID-19 restrictions. He had said that it was “one of the toughest days of his life.”
KK Dixon and Ja Morant dated for a few years and according to The US Sun, they broke up in early 2023. They continue to raise their daughter together.
Dixon has a successful business, Dixon Brands LLC, and has also authored Kaari & Kree's Ultimate Coloring & Activity Book.
Ja Morant's daughter trash talks mother KK Dixon
Overtime reposted a video that KK Dixon shared on her social media where she and her daughter were playing basketball inside their house. Even before they started playing, Kaari already had something to say to her.
“I got this y’all,” she said as she got close to the camera and made the thumbs down sign.
Immediately after her trash talk, Kaari turned around towards her mother and dribbled the ball with her left hand while her mother guarded her on her right.
When she scored on Dixon, she turned and walked towards the camera and resumed her trash talk. Flexing her biceps, she was heard saying,
"You see the guns?! You see the guns?!"
Ja Morant missed most of the 2023-24 season, including the first 25 games due to suspension. Less than a month after his return, he suffered a shoulder injury and the Grizzlies announced that he would undergo surgery to repair it and won't return in the current campaign.
As per the latest reports, Ja Morant has been cleared for all basketball-related activities and should be ready for the start of the 2024-25 season.
