Ja Morant and KK Dixon welcomed their daughter in August 2019, almost two months after Morant was drafted second overall by the Memphis Grizzlies.

The two-time NBA All-Star met Dixon while they attended Murray State University in Kentucky. The pair started dating in 2017 and made their relationship official in 2018 before splitting in January 2023.

While Morant and Dixon share joint custody of Kaari, she lives with her mom. Dixon recently shared a heartwarming post on Instagram featuring a collage of videos of her time with their daughter.

"So thankful for the life God has created for us .. truly always works out 🤍 being a mom has healed me in so many ways 🤍 I can't wait to continue making more memories with my baby girl," Dixon captioned her post.

Ja Morant and KK Dixon also co-manage an Instagram account dedicated to Kaari which features various moments of her childhood.

Ja Morant's baby mama KK Dixon loves daughter Kaari's style ft. LeBron James' jersey

Earlier this week, Ja Morant's ex-girlfriend KK Dixon shared an Instagram story of their daughter, Kaari, posing as she rocked an oversized LeBron James Lakers jersey with blue jeans. Dixon shared pride in her daughter as she claimed that the five-year-old dressed herself for the day.

"We love a fashion queen who dresses herself," Dixon captioned her IG story.

Ja Morant considers his daughter as his motivation to do well on the court, especially when she's cheering for her dad from the sidelines. The Grizzlies guard also previously opened up about how Kaari helped him realize that he needed help during the rough stretch of controversy and injuries over the past two years.

After missing most of the 2023-24 season due to suspension and shoulder injury, Morant will return to the NBA stage as the next season tips off in October.
