Ja Morant's co-parent KK Dixon shares adorable moment of daughter Kaari cheering Grizzlies star in Messi gear

Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies have something to prove this season. While the young NBA star is finding his way back, he has all the support of his daughter Kaari. In a post made by KK Dixon, the mother of Morant's daughter, Kaari was seen cheering her father against the Philadelphia 76ers.

In the video that KK Dixon posted on her Instagram story, Kaari was seen sitting on her couch while donning Lionel Messi's Inter Miami jersey. While she watched her father play, she also kept making comments while Dixon secretly recorded her.

"She be locked in on her team," Dixon wrote in the story.

Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Sixers, securing their fourth win of the season. They are currently ranked sixth in the Western Conference with a 4-3 record. So far, the Grizzlies do not look like a team playing in a revenge season.

This is the sixth season that Morant is playing for the Grizzlies. He is averaging 20.0 points per game while shooting 45.3% from the field. Morant is also averaging 5.2 rebounds and a career-high 9.8 assists per game.

Morant will next make his appearance against the Brooklyn Nets in a road game at the Barclays Center on November 4.

Ja Morant had a forgettable last season. The Grizzlies star was first suspended for the first 25 games of the 2023-24 season and later, he had to exit the season with a labral tear. Moreover, most of the Grizzlies' star players did not play most of the season with multiple injuries.

Morant and the Grizzlies are back at it again, starting their quest for getting to the top of the Western Conference. Ja Morant and the Grizzlies played their third game and their home opener against the Orlando Magic.

Ahead of the game, Morant was accompanied by his daughter. The father-daughter duo even played together at the court before the tip-off.

In a video shared on X, Morant and Kaari were seen chatting before he took a few steps back to receive the ball from her. When she threw him the pass after a few dribbles, Morant took the ball and dunked it.

He later led his daughter to the sideline where she was picked by an unidentified person.

Karri also appeared in Ja Morant's first signature shoe commercial. Last month, she also joined her father at a Nike event, where he hilariously blocked her shot when she tried to score over him.
