Ja Morant's sister Niya Morant drops heartfelt reaction on Grizzlies star's baby mama KK Dixon's birthday post
Ja Morant’s former girlfriend, KK Dixon, celebrated her 25th birthday on Saturday, Aug. 31. The Memphis Grizzlies star’s baby mama spent the special occasion with close friends. Morant and Dixon are no longer together, but the author is still apparently close with his younger daughter, Teniya.
A day after her birthday, Dixon went on Instagram to share some of her celebration photos. She simply captioned the collection:
“25, what a time to be alive …🤍”
Teniya Morant, also known as Niya, was one of many who reacted to the series of pictures on Dixon's Instagram post. Morant’s sister didn’t say anything but reacted with a handful of love emojis.

Per Distractify, Morant and KK Dixon broke up in January 2023. They were reportedly together since 2017 but only made their relationship public in 2018. The following year, they welcomed Kaari Jaidyn Morant to their world. Although they eventually ended up in Splitsville, the 2019-20 NBA Rookie of the Year winner remains a doting father to their daughter.
During roughly six years of Ja Morant’s relationship with KK Dixon, it seemed like Niya had formed a strong bond with his baby mama. The reaction to Dixon's birthday post did not have one word, but the emojis tell the whole tale.

Ja Morant and KK Dixon have separated, but the two have been co-parenting their daughter, Kaari Jaidyn Morant. Dixon’s Instagram is significantly more updated than the basketball star’s account on the same platform concerning Kaari.
During the child’s fifth birthday, Dixon captioned her IG post:
“Big 5🤍happy birthday babygirl!! You light up every room, the greatest. My bestfriend, love you more than life!”
Morant and Dixon’s daughter seems to be a big Real Madrid fan, as she wore the Spanish soccer team’s jersey in a handful of photos. Most of the pictures in the collection showed the mother and daughter relaxing and taking selfies together.
For Kaari’s fourth birthday, the entrepreneur also had something to share on Instagram, writing:
“I’m still processing that I have a 4-year-old.. being a mom is the greatest gift I’ve ever received. I love you Kaar!! Thank you to everyone who wished her a happy birthday. 💕”
Ja Morant isn’t as expressive on Instagram when it comes to Kaari Morant. But he often brings her to some of his home games. She is likely a regular presence next season as the point guard returns healthy to lead the Memphis Grizzlies.
