Jalen Brunson's bet with Jon Stewart backfires as late-night host intends to make him wear Giants jersey with 'Jew Boy' on the back
Late-night host Jon Stewart appeared on Friday's episode of Jalen Brunson's podcast 'The Rommates Show'. This episode was a live version where the podcast crew hosted guests and did their discussions in front of a packed crowd at Central Park.
During the episode, the New York Knicks star made a bet with the late-night host that 'backfired' on him. Brunson proposed to place a wager against Stewart concerning the outcome of the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants on October 20.
"October 20th, the Philadelphia Eagles walk into MetLife, if the Eagles win the next time you're courtside at the Garden, you'll have to wear a jersey with my name on the back," Brunson said.
Stewart immediately accepted the Wager but Brunson changed his mind seeing the late-night host accept the wager easily. The Knicks star tried to change the conditions of the bet but Stewart insisted that it was a done deal and revealed his end of the wager.
"If the Eagles win I will wear a New York Knicks jersey that says Jalen Brunson on the back but if the New York Giants win Jalen Brunson during the game has to wear a New York Giants jersey that says 'Jew Boy' on the back!" Stewart said.
Brunson immediately remarked that the bet had backfired on him. However, he spoke his mind and reiterated the outcome of the wager. He bet Stewart to wear a Saquon Barkley jersey if the Eagles beat the Giants. Both shook hands and confirmed the bet as the crowd cheered on.
