Jalen Brunson's wife, Ali Brunson, was beaming with pride after finding her husband on the annual sports edition of the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. The wife of the New York Knicks star hyped up the All-Star on social media.
Ali posted the screenshot of Brunson's profile on Forbes on her Instagram story on Tuesday, reacting with a "salute" emoji and a series of exclamation mark emojis.
Since arriving in New York, Brunson's fame has skyrocketed. With him leading the way, the Knicks have had some of the best seasons in recent years.
Apart from his on-court performances, Forbes also lauded the Knicks' star for taking a big cut in his paycheck. Jalen Brunson was not alone on the list from the basketball world. He was joined by LSU star Flau'jae Johnson, Indiana Fever WNBA player Caitlin Clark and Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum.

Jalen Brunson's name is climbing the fame chart seemingly every day. The New York Knicks guard has made it to the top of a list of names that dog owners prefer from the sports world. In an article released by Rover.com's "Rover’s 12th Annual Report," "Brunson" topped the name among dog owners. The name saw an increase of 161% since last year.
Jalen Brunson's wife Ali posted a tweet from @TommyBeer on her IG handle and captioned the post,
"okay bur this >>>."
Tommy Beer had also posted the picture of Brunson with his dog in the post.
"hi kona," Ali wrote for her dog.
Second on the list was "Wmby," alluding to the San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama (+127%). There were other NBA and WNBA players as well on the list. Bronny (Bronny James), Caitlin Clark and Luka “Dogcic” (Luka Doncic) were also on the list of most sports-inspired preferred names.
The increasing love for the Knicks star guard should not come as a surprise. In July, Brunson signed a four-year, $156.5 million extension with the Knicks, which was $113 million less than what he was eligible for.
In his third year in New York, Jalen Brunson is averaging 25.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game. He is also shooting 48.6%, including 41.1% from the 3-point line. The Knicks (12-8) are fourth in the Eastern Conference.
