Jamie Lee Curtis and LeBron James prefer watching different kinds of movies
As someone who has made a career out of horror films, one would think that Jamie Lee Curtis would be a huge fan of the genre. However, that's not the case for the famed actress.
In a recent appearance on "The Graham Norton Show," Curtis revealed that she doesn't enjoy watching horror films. The studio, however, made her watch the film by herself while she had complete control of the volume. She had the entire theater all to herself to screen her own movie.
LeBron James, on the other hand, has expressed his love for the film genre. In a past interview with ESPN's Dave McMenamin, he expressed how much he enjoys watching "Friday the 13th." (via ESPN.com)
"I'm a huge horror fan," James said. "I love horror movies. Obviously, 'Friday the 13th' being Jason Vorhees day, I think it's cool."
LeBron James desires to be a part of Hollywood with his LA-based production company
Aside from being an extremely gifted basketball player, LeBron James is also an entrepreneur. His most recent business venture that has taken over is his media production company, SpringHill Company. Over the years, the company has had various projects that have become well-known pictures.
Some of the most familiar projects are "Space Jam: The New Legacy," Netflix's "The Redeem Team" and "Hustle," starring Adam Sandler.
In 2020, the four-time MVP shared his vision in an interview with ESPN:
"When we talk about storytelling, we want to be able to hit home. Hit a lot of homes where they feel like they can be just as part of that story or they feel like, 'Oh, you know what, I can relate to that story because I am someone that's going through that same situation.'"
James' company is taking giant steps in breaking into the Hollywood scene. With its most recent projects being successes, it might not be long until SpringHill Company becomes the top athlete-owned media company.
