Jaren Jackson Jr. reacts with elation after meeting Kamala Harris ahead of US Presidential elections
Memphis Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr. recently met US Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of the upcoming US Presidential elections. Jackson took to Instagram on Friday to share a snap of his meeting with the Democratic Party's Presidential candidate as he urged his followers to vote in the elections.
"Honored to meet Madam Vice President @kamalaharris," Jaren captioned his IG story. "11 more days - make your voice count! #VOTE"
While Jaren Jackson Jr. did not directly endorse Kamala Harris, he possibly conveyed his pick for the Presidential elections with a public support gesture.
With the post, the former Defensive Player of the Year joined the likes of Steph Curry, Steve Kerr, Magic Johnson among others who have voiced, directly or indirectly, support for Harris' candidature.

The fans conveyed mixed feelings on the Grizzlies forward's post, with some voicing opposition to his apparent support of Harris while others lauded the move.
"as a lifelong grizzlies fan, im sick of this woke nonsense polluting my beautiful game. we should send him to commiefornia! trade him to the wokeramento kings for a true patriot like huerter. get it done kleiman 🤝🤝" a fan posted rather angrily on X.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is yet to make his 2024-25 NBA season debut as he is recovering from a hamstring injury sustained during training camp.
After missing the first two games of the season, he is projected to start his seventh season in the league in the Memphis Grizzlies' upcoming matchup against the Orlando Magic on Saturday.
