Casey Braxton shares frustration over haters amid boyfriend Jaxson Hayes' legal issues
Casey Braxton is standing by the side of boyfriend Jaxson Hayes as he deals with ongoing legal issues but admits it has been frustrating with people piling on their case.
Hayes is currently facing an investigation over serious allegations of domestic violence by his former girlfriend, Sofia Jamora. It reportedly took place in 2021, when the former Texas player was still playing for the New Orleans Pelicans.
Last month, new information came up about the domestic violence case of Hayes, prompting league officials to reopen their investigation.
In a recent Instagram story, Casey Braxton shared her thoughts on what she is going through with the current issue of her boyfriend, writing:
"I want to take a moment to thank everyone for the incredible love and support I've received during this challenging time. Your kindness means the world!"
She added:
"Being on the receiving end of negativity for something you have nothing to do with is incredible frustrating. You have every right to stand your ground, protect your peace, and promote kindness in the midst of chaos."
Hayes has yet to issue a statement on the reinvestigation of his case but continues to play for the LA Lakers.
His team said it is aware of the reopening of the investigation and expressed its full cooperation with the process just as they expect its player to come out better as an individual from the entire issue.
The NBA has a long-standing policy of no tolerance against domestic violence.
