Jaylen Brown dishes why he spent pre-Finals downtime watching Harry Potter: "I don’t have a family"

The gap between the Eastern Conference finals' last game [May 26] and the NBA Finals Game 1 [June 6] was big. "Good Morning America" asked Brown about how he spent the downtime. The Celtics star said he was single, so he spent his time watching "Harry Porter."

“That’s probably been the hardest thing because there has been so much time. It’s been almost 10 days and a lot of our guys probably spent time with their family and stuff like that but I don’t have a family. I am single so, I have been binge-watching Harry Potter,” Brown said.

The reporter asked Brown to name the character he most identifies with. He mentioned Prof. Albus Dumbledore and said he would like to have a beard like him. He added that he also identifies with Hermione Granger as she is smart and appreciates her ability to keep the team together.

Jaylen Brown was the star of the Celtics' playoff run to the NBA Finals. He won the Eastern Conference finals MVP after sweeping the Indiana Pacers.
